Kelly warned me of their very active little boy named Sylas. We decided on the fantastic Musser Park in downtown Lancaster (one of my favorites) and I braced myself for this over active almost one year old. I envisioned this crazy, super active, little boy…but then shyness took over and I worked my magic to warm up Sylas. It didn’t take very long at all for him to start laughing, running and smiling with his parents. This blog was really hard to be picky and only show my top favorites. There were so many fun and silly moments captured and I had tons of fun getting to know Kelly, Carson and Sylas.
Slovak’s I hope you enjoy and I hear it’s Sylas’s first birthday today! Happy Birthday sweet Sylas. Here’s my gift to you. Cheers!!

Even though it was raining last Friday, seriously when hasn’t it been raining? This didn’t put a damper on Suzie and Sean’s day. I found out a fun fact; every big event in Suzie’s life, the weather is horrible. Her mom was really glad Suzie picked an all inside location for her wedding. Fearing her track record, the Yorktowne was perfect! I love the historic environment and we had fun running all over the hotel looking for cool places to shoot. Big shout out to having my favorite flower image of the year, coolest cake topper yet and huge shout out to the awesome staff at Yorktowne! You helped ease the day with your coordination. Another shout out to Matt Cleveland, Occasions DJ’s. Matt is great to work with and will help you with all your DJ needs. Pure quality!
Here’s Suzie and Sean’s sneak peek post. I wish you two the very best!

The girls were peaking through the keyhole watching Suzie put on her dress. Super cute!

Baby Leo’s first professional photo session went really well. This little guy was full of laughs, kicks and Leo talk. It really was a good day for his session. Little Leo is four months going on five and without further ado…..Leo’s sneak peak!

I’m not quite sure what I should call this shoot. Jesse and Kristin were married in marital bliss on a fantastic Saturday in August. Our last meeting before their wedding we realized we never photographed their engagement session! This happens, life happens and in between their wedding planning and house purchasing, e-session was pushed aside. We decided we’ll have their session in the fall. When I met Kristin the day of her wedding at her awesome getting ready, secret location spot, I knew we had to come back there with Jesse.
So here is their non engagement/ not day after session/ maybe Story the Dress session? You decide.

I was very honored, humbled and happy to be photographing Matt and Jessica’s wedding on Saturday. In a weird twist they weren’t my clients until three days before their wedding. An absolute first for me! Luckily I was able to rearrange my schedule and photograph their wedding. Matt and Jess were panicking. Their original photographer went MIA. All contact numbers were disconnected, the studio gone, no physical business, lost their retainer and their photographer….vanished? For the sake of karma I’ll keep the unethical photographer nameless. I have heard of them but I do not know them. I do not agree with this type of service and do not agree with taking advantage of people. I was raised with values and could never do what has been done.
My heart was breaking for my new found clients and I am very happy to be able to step in and help. Thanks to Dayna at Riverdale Manor I was able to help. I’ve met two wonderful families and grown closer to them in just a short couple of days then I have with couples I’ve booked years ago. It just happens like that. I think when you are thrown into an..an un traditional, un ethical, un ordinary situation you all become closer!
My main goal for their wedding (just like with all of my clients) was to relieve their fears and let them know their photography will be the easiest part of their wedding day. Well accomplished! The Springers and D’onofrio’s welcomed me with open arms. I met Matt the day of the wedding! Seriously a first for me. The love, humor and huge smiles were enough for me and the love was pouring out everywhere. Yeah, no rain!!
Everyone was fantastic and a wonderful help. Thank you Jessica, Kelly, Jessica and Kelly (Bride and bridal party, easiest names ever!)
Jess and Matt I hope you’re enjoying Aruba and getting to relax.
My best, Krisha

Think I got maybe one serious bridal party shot. Which was totally fine with me because I just let their humor shine. Best Grooms men picture of the year coming up. Stay class boys.
