Happy Holidays and Studio News; Closed Dec 17-Jan 11th

What a whirlwind of a year! I can’t thank everyone enough for your support through out 2010. From my father’s stroke, studio move, pregnancy, maternity leave, juggling our new life adjustment as parents, crazy shooting schedule (so much fun!! my clients are truly awesome) and our WEDDING!!! Thank you for your patience!

Holiday orders will be taken up to WED DEC 15th (US shipping only for Christmas arrival). Any orders post 15th that are needed for Christmas will be charged a rush fee of %50 on top of order total. Our studio will be closed from DEC 17-Jan 11th. Email access will be limited and checked as often as I can.

It’s crazy to think it’s time for our wedding?! Our life is still surreal, having the shoe on the other foot is a wild concept but a concept I like! New Years Eve at 8pm I’ll be marrying my love. 5 years in the making and it keeps getting better every day. It is true, I love Todd more today than yesterday. It’s amazing how much one can love. I love our daughter more than life, more than words can express, she’s pretty cool and to see them together…well, that’s just a heart explosion right there. Ever thine, ever mine, ever ours~

I wish you all a fantastic 2011! I’m so excited for the new projects we have up our sleeves. We’ll be hitting the ground running mid January but first it’s time to get hitched and then bask in the warm sun of Jamaica~

I’m a really lucky girl this year. I’ve had some fantastic October weddings, every one different, every one a party! The details at Adrianne and Brads wedding were awesome. I’m planning on doing a detail post from their wedding in the upcoming months. I had a great time working with Leah McMaster of Fashionable Affairs Event Planning. Enjoy this magical fall wedding. Very fitting since Adrianne and Brad live in Sleep Hollow, NY. So cool!

Monica is the type of chick who doesn’t like to be fussed over. She’ll do things herself and would prefer shorts and jeans to a dress any day…mirror image of myself really, but secretly I think we like it. I think we both like to play dress up, shoot look at the heels she picked, Hotness!! Frank, has some of the best hugs one can give. Love spews from this guy. He’s got a great smile and when Monica and Frank see each other they light up. She’s comfortable with herself and lets her guard down and Frank openly embraces Monica to hold her tight.

I love their love.

As my family’s photographer I know how important it is to have at least one picture of yourself! Monica’s Grandma is a photographer at heart, tons of pictures and albums in their house. So on this special day she must be photographed too. She’s capturing Monica coming down the steps. Love it.

Frank’s excitement is electrifying. Gorgeous church by the way!

Two cakes, some creative magic using buttons, an awesome bluegrass band, Colebrook Road, to play them down the isle and gorgeous late afternoon weather, what more could you ask for? Angie and Mike created a fabulous Sunday afternoon wedding in mid August. There were tons of smiles and personal touches that made this wedding every bit a part of them. There was a beer and wine tasting bar and a surprise 3D grooms cake by Moneky and Me Sweets! Mike, Todd’s very impressed with your cake, guess I’ll be getting one for our wedding lol. Seriously a bouquet out of buttons?! The creativity that pours out of my clients boggles my mind sometimes.

Thanks guys for allowing me to be part of your wedding story. I have a fun time! Enjoy your wedding sneak peak~

I’m behind in posting, sorry!! I’m going to keep the text in this one short and sweet cause it’s better to get right to the point, which is images!

Kasey and Mike entered into marital bliss on an unusually cool August day. The weather was perfect for their outdoor ceremony. I loved the white material they used to provide some shade coverage during their ceremony. The white material created some really cool leading lines against the clear blue sky. I really enjoyed seeing past clients and past friends taking part in Mike and Kasey’s day.

I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Mexico! You’ve been super patient waiting to see your images, here you go~

This wedding was extremely hard to blog and all for the right reasons, I assure you. There’s so much I wanted to show. I wanted to show you how I successfully photographed a ceremony in the pouring rain (a first for me). How beautiful and fitting the rain was. How emotional, warm and open everyone was. How much love was genuinely wrapped and surrounding Sarah and Danny’s wedding. Plus there was a lot of humor too, good humor.

I hope these images alleviate some of the stresses of your day. I know the road has been rocky for you both. But for me, personally, if it’s not scary, challenging and crazy then it’s just not worth it. Your love has carried you both through. I’m so glad and honored to have photographed your day and hope I documented all of life’s challenges of your day into visionary bliss. May these photographs keep those memories alive.
