I picked up the camera at a young age. Making my Grandpop hold up his gifts at holidays so I could cut off his head and show half of his gift and using the family Australian Shepard, Spark, as my main model. And I never stopped shooting. In high school I consumed every photo class offered, was recognized in Art Scholastics and completed college level photography classes in Philadelphia and Lancaster during high school. Following graduation I studied at The Art Institute of Pittsburgh earning my degree in Photography. Since graduation in 2001 I have photographed sports stars, corporate executives, personal and family portraits, covered news photography and daily events- gaining front-page features during 9/11, weddings and special events, coordinated shoots across the US for corporate annual reports, product shoots and model spreads. This range and variety has helped me gain an appreciation for all the possibilities. My passion remains- photography that portrays a “lifestyle and journalistic’ approach combining art and excellent technique.
